EmpiricalHR - data-driven employee decisions - Issue #137
Between 19th and 22 of April People Analytics World is running online. This is a conference that I have a lot of affection - I was co-chair of the first few editions and even then the agenda was full of some very interesting and thought-provoking speakers.
This year, as you can imagine, the conference has gone online. I’m running two sessions. The first on the 19th is a 30 minutes introduction to text analytics. This session will be an overview of the topic - easy enough for a beginner to understand but with content that will be valuable for an intermediate analyst who maybe wants to take their models to the next level.
The second, on the 21st, will be a 90 minute ‘workshop’ and will be for the person with text who wants to analyse it - or has been asked to analyse it. There are hundreds of little tricks that are needed to make any text analysis good enough to be useful and I intend to explain some of the most common challenges and how you can overcome them.
If you want to attend the conference - and I think you should - then please use the code “OVIEW” to get 25% off the already great-value prices.
